The Company
The MASSAIA Company was born from an ancient family tradition of winemakers.
It is located in the Council of Aramengo, in the northern tip of the province of Asti, a strip of land full of natural and artistic beauties.
The vineyards, cultivated using advanced techniques, are extending across a hilly area of 20 hectares, and vinification is exclusively based on grapes obtained with very low yields, due to repeated controls and drastic reductions in production.
Only the best grapes are vinificated so that we can obtain high quality wines, that are second to none.
The market has quickly discovered that the wines of this family-based company are consistently excellent.
The wine cellar, renovated a few years ago, has rooms for aging in wood.
Even the vineyards are grown in order to increase the production of Barbera, Nebbiolo and Malvasia.
In the area there is the Vezzolano Abbey, dating from the 12th century;
one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Europe representing a witness of historical events that occurred in his regions.
