Vinification: Destemming and crushing of the grapes, maceration at 32°C for seven days, pressing, racking, aging for 18 months, then bottling. Clarifications or filtrations aren't done.
Maturation: 14 months in huge oak barrel.
Aging: 3 months in bottle before sale.
Colour: Intense red ruby with violet reflections.
Aroma: Intense, winy, with marked hints like plum, blackberry and ripen cherry.
Flavour: Full, armonic with a pleasantly and acidulous final.
Food Matches: Important first courses, meat-based main courses and aged cheeses.
Conservation: In the dark, in a lay-down bottle at 10°C - 12°C with 75% of humidity.
Annotations: Improves in the first 3-4 years of aging.
